Workshopbeschreibung:
We begin by briefly discussing reading and the kinds of German and English texts that participants read. A practical approach to reading texts in English is introduced and participants have an opportunity to apply it to short texts from relevant fields. Along the way we consider comprehension strategies for specific words. The goal of the workshop is to help participants read faster and comprehend more when working with academic texts in English.
