Do you have AD(H)D symptoms and want to improve your writing skills, or are you simply looking for a place to exchange ideas? Then you are very welcome to join our open writing group! Together, we want to find out what specific challenges writing with AD(H)D symptoms entails – and how to find ways to work with them instead of against them. Our group offers a space for sharing experiences, developing individual strategies and trying things out together. Our group is about
We are two peer tutors at the Writing Centre who are trained in writing didactics and counselling and have dealt with the topic of AD(H)D, but do not have any therapeutic or AD(H)D-specific training. Our goal is to create a supportive, open atmosphere where everyone is welcome, no matter how much or how little they want to contribute. We look forward to meeting you and hearing your perspective – whether you want to come regularly or just drop in for a visit.

Are there ways we can make it easier for you to participate in our workshops (e.g., by taking regular short breaks, using a large font size in our presentations, sending you the presentations with image descriptions in advance, etc.)? Please contact us as early as possible at schreibzentrum@uni-frankfurt.de, stating the workshop you would like to attend, and we will try to find a solution to your request!
